Notes

  • No AI model training: No sub-processor uses Fermi user data, including Student Data, for foundation-model training. This is contractually prohibited in every Data Processing Agreement.
  • Internal-only tools: Slack and Jira are listed for transparency. Slack receives only automated system alerts containing no student personal data. Jira may receive user feedback or screenshots voluntarily submitted by teachers and administrators; no systematic student PII is processed.
  • Change notice: Fermi will notify enterprise customers (schools and districts) at least 30 days in advance before engaging any new sub-processor that processes Student Data.
  • DPA copies: Schools and districts may request copies of individual sub-processor DPAs (redacted for commercial terms) by contacting compliance@fermi.ai.
